The Zybio EXS 2600 is a Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) system designed for the rapid identification of microorganisms. It analyzes the characteristic protein profiles of microbial samples and compares the resulting spectra against a comprehensive reference database to support identification of bacteria, yeasts, filamentous fungi, mycobacteria, and other microorganisms. Built for high-throughput microbiology workflows, the EXS 2600 can process 96 spots on a single target plate in approximately 7 minutes, with a target in/out time of less than 1 minute. Its oil-free turbomolecular pump helps reduce maintenance requirements, while its ion propulsion technology is designed to improve sensitivity and resolution.
