Xevo TQ-S micro Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry
High Performance from a Compact Design with Rapid, Reliable and Reproducible Quantitative Data Revolutionary design has produced a tandem quadrupole instrument with a small footprint that delivers consistent low levels of quantitation with a wide dynamic range. ▪ Class-leading performance that can fit into any lab ▪ Quantify highly polar, ionic compounds in food ▪ Benefit from flexibility and compatibility across the board ▪ Robust performance, even with the most complex sample matrices Features and Benefits Class-leading performance that can fit into any lab From the inherently robust Xevo family of tandem quadrupole instruments, the Xevo TQ-S micro provides superior performance per square inch and exceptional analytical flexibility. The Xevo TQ-S micro is able to reproduce high quality analytical performance injection after injection, even with the most complex sample matrices. Reliable instrument operation maximizes laboratory efficiency, delivering outstanding sensitivity for such a compact instrument. Quantify highly polar, ionic compounds in food The Xevo TQ-S micro’s reliable quantitative performance is shown in this example for glyphosate in cucumber. Excellent quantitative performance over a suitable calibration range is achieved for matrix matched calibration curves overlaid, which have bracketed an analytical run of over 40 injections. All back calculated concentrations are well within the 20% deviation permitted by SANTE/11813/2017. Highlighted from the curve is an example of the excellent performance achieved for glyphosate in cucumber, relative to the original Xevo TQ-S micro, illustrating suitability for checking compliance with MRLs set around the globe and for use for due diligence by the food industry. Flexibility and compatibility across the board Achieve more with increased flexibility delivered through a wider range of source and inlet options. Coverage for every application area is guaranteed through compatibility with Waters Universal Ion Source Architecture including: ▪ ESI, APCI, ESCi ▪ UniSpray ▪ APGC ▪ ionKey/MS ▪ ASAP ▪ Nanoflow ESI Chromatographic versatility is guaranteed through compatibility with: ▪ ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS, H-Class Bio PLUS, H-Class Binary PLUS ▪ ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS ▪ ACQUITY UPC2 ▪ ACQUITY M-Class ▪ GC Inherent robustness Robust performance begins in the source with Z-Spray geometry, efficiently removing neutral molecules while drawing ions through the sample cone into the analyzer. The StepWave ion guide in the Xevo TQ-S micro is designed to cope with the challenges in the modern laboratory that are produced by high sample throughput and difficult matrices. Neutrals and gas load are passively removed for enhanced transmission with the ions actively transferred into the mass analyzer, improving sensitivity and robustness.
